Frequently Asked Questions

Kingsberry Counseling currently works with clients ages 18 and over. Private pay is the primary source of payment and billed prior to each session. Sessions may be terminated at any time at the request of the client. Ongoing goals and timeframes for treatment are mutually established between the client and the therapist.

*We do not work with 3rd party insurance payers, however, we are willing to provide a record of payment with credentials and CPT codes to submit for 3rd party reimbursement.Clients who are unable to pay for services due to financial hardship may qualify for assistance.

EAP services are free for contracted agency employees and immediate household members. EAP is employee sponsored and part of your benefit plan for participating companies. There’s no need to bring an insurance card to your EAP appointment.
sessions are confidential and privately arranged by an employee participating in a prepaid company sponsored benefit. EAP services are available to contracted employers, employees and their immediate household members, including significant others, who reside with the employee.
All EAP counselors are board certified and fully licensed. Each clinician has completed the necessary educational and training requirements to conduct individual counseling sessions. Our counselors utilize a variety of specialties and evidence based practices to address individual needs.
Our counselors are available Monday-Saturday 8:00am to 9:00pm for pre-scheduled appointments. Appointment times are flexible to meet the individual needs of our clients. To schedule an appointment, call our 24 hour line to get started.
Yes. Teletherapy or virtual sessions are available to assist clients with engaging in services from any location. Kingsberry Counseling utilizes a secure platform for all virtual services.

Prior to your first appointment, our scheduling team will send you the necessary documents to review and electronically sign before services begin. Our intake process and counseling sessions are secure and HIPAA compliant.
EAP services are provided by a board certified and licensed clinician. Sessions are short-term, ranging between 1 to 6 employee sponsored sessions. EAP is designed to be solution-focused for a number of interpersonal issues.
Typical sessions are 50 minutes to an hour. Couples or family sessions may range from 60 to 90 minutes.
Confidentiality is a critical part of our services. Third parties will not know of your participation in the counseling services nor have access to any information without your consent. Your therapist has a legal, ethical, and professional responsibility to abide by state, federal, and board regulations designed to prevent disclosure of any information that could identify you, unless:
  • You sign a consent to release information to a specific person;
  • A valid court order mandates the release of specific information;
  • You commit or threaten to harm the life of yourself or another individual;
  • There is suspicion of physical, sexual, or extreme emotional abuse of a minor, the law mandates a report to local authorities.
